What is an EORI number?
The EORI-numberEconomic Operators´ Registration and Identification number - number for the registration and identification of economic operators) replaces the German customs number as the operator identification number valid throughout the European Union. Since the entry into force of Regulation (EC) No. 312/2009 amending the Customs Code Implementing Regulation on 1 July 2009, it has been a prerequisite for customs clearance in the European Union.
